Sydney Solstice

8th - 20th June 2021

In the lead up to the longest night of the year, Sydney will come out of hibernation with an action-packed festival celebrating everything the Harbour City has to offer.

Sample incredible food from culinary masters and innovative newcomers. See outrageous drag shows and intimate choral performances. Dine atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge pylon at sunset, dance in the streets or indulge in dim sum at 3am. Celebrate the things you already love about Sydney, or uncover new, hidden delights.
Whatever you fancy, there’s something for everyone at Sydney Solstice.

Staying Covid-19 Safe

As at 26 June 2021

The NSW Government is continually monitoring the status of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the community and restrictions relating to travel and public gatherings are in place.

NSW Health are regularly updating the case location webpage as new venues visited by confirmed cases of COVID-19 emerge. As contact tracing and testing is ongoing, please regularly check the NSW Health website to remain up-to-date with case locations and public health alerts.

For the latest information, please visit the NSW Government COVID-19 website, or follow the NSW Health Facebook account and the NSW Health Twitter account.

Sydney Solstice is an initiative of Destination NSW, and has been planned with community safety top of mind. All events have a Covid-19 safety plan, and all participating venues are registered as official Covid-safe businesses. Checking-in at all venues via QR codes is a mandatory requirement of attendance.

By taking some simple precautions, you can help protect yourself and others through this festival. We recommend you:

  • Always check in and out of venues
  • Practice good hygiene including washing your hands often
  • Stay home if you’re feeling unwell – and get tested if you have any symptoms
  • Physically distance where possible
  • Wear a face mask on public transport
